What this launcher is
A home screen for the Ufumbuzi apps, and for anything else you want to
reach quickly. It opens with 48 Ufumbuzi apps already in place. You can add
your own, rename them, hide the ones you do not use, and drag them into
the order you want.
What you can do with it
- Add any app with a name, an icon and a link. The icon comes from a
catalog of 26, or from a URL if you would rather use your own image.
- Rename, change the icon, hide or delete any app in the grid.
- Drag the icons to reorder them. Press Order, drag, then press it
again to finish.
- Search by name as you type, which narrows the grid down as you go.
- Hide what you do not use and bring it back with Show hidden.
- Install it on the home screen of your phone or computer as an app.
Frequently asked questions
How do I edit an app that is already in the launcher?
Right-click it, or press and hold it for a second or so on a touchscreen. A panel opens where you can change the name, the icon, the link and whether it is visible. It does not open while you are in Order mode, so press Order again first if you are rearranging.
Does the launcher send anything to a server?
No. The list of apps is kept in your own browser's storage and nowhere else. The launcher code makes no requests of its own, so there is nothing to send, and there is no account to create. Clearing your browser data clears the launcher with it.
Does it work without a connection?
The launcher does, once you have opened it at least once: the page and the icons you have already seen are stored by the browser. The apps themselves do not, because they are web pages on ufumbuzi.com and they need a connection to load.
Do I have to add my own apps?
No. All 48 Ufumbuzi apps are there from the start. Adding your own is for the tools you use that are not part of Ufumbuzi.

- Ocultar lo que no usas y recuperarlo con Mostrar ocultas.

Preguntas frecuentes
¿Cómo edito una app que ya está en el lanzador?
Haz clic derecho sobre ella, o mantenla pulsada un segundo más o menos si estás en una pantalla táctil. Se abre un panel donde puedes cambiar el nombre, el icono, el enlace y si está visible. No se abre mientras estés en modo Ordenar, así que pulsa Ordenar otra vez primero si estabas reordenando.
¿El lanzador envía algo a algún servidor?
No. La lista de apps se guarda en el almacenamiento de tu propio navegador y en ningún otro sitio. El código del lanzador no hace ninguna petición por su cuenta, así que no hay nada que enviar, y no hay que crear ninguna cuenta. Si borras los datos del navegador, borras el lanzador con ellos.
¿Funciona sin conexión?
El lanzador sí, una vez que lo has abierto al menos una vez: la página y los iconos que ya has visto los guarda el navegador. Las apps no, porque son páginas web de ufumbuzi.com y necesitan conexión para cargar.
¿Tengo que añadir mis propias apps?
No. Las 48 apps de Ufumbuzi están desde el principio. Añadir las tuyas es para las herramientas que usas y que no son parte de Ufumbuzi.
